We absolutely loved the comfort of the bed and the delicious Scottish breakfast. The hotel's proximity to Haymarket Station and the excellent transport links to the city center via bus were also major advantages.
Nothing negative to say.
The bar staff and manager were fantastic, providing excellent service. The bar meal was delicious and the drinks were good quality and reasonably priced. The hotel is located in a nice traditional bar, frequented by locals, and is in a convenient location between the city and the zoo. It is also close to Murrayfield for rugby games.
Nothing that I didn't like.
The staff, especially Mike and Jim, were incredibly friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience. The room was fantastic - spacious, cozy, and equipped with a dreamy bed. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained. The location was convenient, with bus stops nearby providing easy access to transportation. Plus, there were several useful connections to the tram on the other side of Murrayfield Stadium. The breakfast served was delicious and the meal at the pub downstairs was equally tasty.
Almost perfect.
The staff were friendly and helpful, providing great tips for our trip. The food and drink at the hotel were reasonable and excellent. The location was fantastic, with easy access to the zoo and a short bus ride to the heart of the city. The room was quiet and spacious, exceeding our expectations.
All good.
The staff were friendly and accommodating. Good breakfast options and ample tea and coffee. Large and quiet room with iron and ironing board. Reasonably priced meals in the evening. Convenient location with easy access to the city center and Edinburgh Zoo.
Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.
